Got the 3. Already had a year sub to Qobuz. So they go nicely together. Which includes Apple Music. I deem it unlikely, but I would really like Audirvana to support Apple Music. The best thing to do is to buy your music instead of subscribing to all these streamers, big or small. When you buy the music you like, much more money goes to the artists and to the music industry.
When you subscribe to all these streamers, they keep the big money and pay peanuts in royalties. Lifeless, dull and bland are words that come to my mind. Now I only have basic audio equipment, nothing fancy at all. Here is some interesting reading, Totally off subject of this thread.
Very fair point. I like Qobuz for quickly looking up some music and finding what I like. And also when I go for an hour or two walk, I plug in my Sennheiser TW2 earbuds and listen to music via the Qobuz app. It sounds pretty amazing for the form factor and convenience. I have a huge local collection, analog and digital downloads.
I am still buying to support artists. If you already pay for a Qobuz subscription Apple Music seems unnecessary. But I prefer to listen to normal music. Not 3d enhanced or whatever if the original source is stereo. Are you sure that they apply it to stereo albums? I thought it was for music that was produced for that. They made a big deal about it.
Well according to Apple spatial audio: what is it? How do you get it? What Hi-Fi? Been looking up those spatial audio playlists on iTunes and I hear no difference compared to the normal versions of the same tracks.
I have posted that, among a number of issues, Kernel Streaming does not work for me and stated that it is my primary interest.
